Bio
| Philosophy | Photography is a magical experience exploring the natural surroundings capturing the essence of the moment with the continuously changing lighting and environmental conditions. My hope is to have the experience captured, be felt by those who view these images.
Thru exploration of our natural surroundings I attempt to isolate the inner beauty that is exposed by Mother Nature providing us with such wondrous treats. All this captured when I am drawn to a specific vantage point in time and space. |
| Style | Landscape, Nature and Architectural in both Color and Black & White. |
| Technique | Work with 6 x 7 format and 35mm format in transparencies and negatives. Images are scanned to capture the maximum detail and printed on 100% cotton rag paper utilizing pigment based inks. The images are mounted on archival mats and foam board providing the greatest in longevity. |
| Background | Have worked extensively with Northlight Photography Workshops capturing images and experience for the past 15 years. Thru this experience numerous images have been utilized for raising needed funds to benefit several area groups including Planned Parenthood, Unison Art Center, New Paltz Public Library and High Meadow School of Stone Ridge. |
| Publications | Numerous images published in the Mid Hudson Times as well as several private collections throughout the Hudson Valley and beyond. |
